Data Safety

Last Updated: May 12, 2026

Transparency is critical to our mission. This Data Safety page provides a plain-English explanation of exactly how your data is handled within Scoop Vault to ensure compliance with modern app store requirements.

No User Data Collected

Scoop Vault does not collect any user data. Period. We do not track how you use the app, we do not log error reports remotely, and we do not monitor your activity.

No Personal Data Shared

Because we do not collect any data, we have absolutely no data to share with third parties. Your data remains strictly between you and your device.

No Cloud Synchronization

Scoop Vault operates independently of the cloud. There are no background sync processes, no API calls to external servers, and no web sockets communicating with a backend. The app is entirely self-contained.

Data Encrypted Locally

All sensitive information you input into Scoop Vault is immediately encrypted locally using the AES-256 cipher standard before it is written to the device's storage. It is decrypted only in volatile memory (RAM) while you are actively viewing it, and is cleared from memory when the app is locked or closed.

App Works Offline

Scoop Vault requires absolutely zero network permissions to function. You can turn off Wi-Fi and Cellular Data, or put your device in Airplane Mode, and the app will function flawlessly. This physical limitation mathematically eliminates the possibility of remote data exfiltration.
